Chapter 470: A debate of pain

[Scene shows Karin and Sasuke in Madara’s dimension]

Karin: Sasuke…can you hear me? I’m here to heal you…Sasuke?

[Karin looks shocked as Sasuke seems to be having troubled dreams]

Karin: Sasuke…..what happened to you…

[Switch scene to Sasuke’s mind]

Sakura: I’ll help you get your revenge! I’ll come with you! Please take me with you!

[Sasuke appears behind Sakura in Konoha]

Sasuke: Sakura…thank you…

[Sasuke knocks down Sakura and the scene dissolves into the Valley of the end]

Naruto: [In kyuubi mode] Sasuke! I’ll break your bones if I have to do so and take you back to Konoha

Sasuke: [Activates cursed seal level 2 and smiles] I guess I have to use this then…
FLASH

[Naruto is lying unconscious on the ground in the valley of the end while Sasuke struggles forward to Orochimaru’s hideout.]
FLASH

[Sasuke and Itachi are standing a little apart in a cave]

Itachi: Come alone to the Uchiha’s secret meeting place. We will finish this there.
FLASH

[Itachi is lying on the ground covered in blood and Sasuke is petrified standing against a wall. Sasuke smiles and falls to the ground]
FLASH

[Madara appears all of a sudden in an empty void]

Madara: You were such a fool Sasuke. You never saw through your brother’s illusion

Sasuke: No…my revenge…kill him…

Madara: Itachi has completely deceived you. Remember Sasuke....Konoha killed the Uchiha. Killed them because they were afraid that the Uchiha might reclaim what was rightfully theirs.

Sasuke: Konoha….yes that’s right…destroy everyone..revive the clan…

Madara: But can you do that? [Laughs] You managed to somehow survive against the Kages, thanks to me. Your eyes are slowly starting their descent into darkness. Eternal darkness.

Sasuke: Noo…that will never happen. I will somehow…….

Madara: You cannot do anything once you are blind. Your Sharingan will be as good as dust. Unless……you take Itachi’s eyes……and listen to me….

Sasuke: His eyes? No….I can’t see what Itachi wanted. I’m different. I—

[Naruto appears]

Naruto: Don’t listen to him Sasuke! He’s manipulating you! Can’t you see the mess he has led you into?

[Madara only laughs]

Sasuke: Naruto….you…

Naruto: Come back Sasuke. You don’t have to listen to anyone giving you orders. Come back before it’s too late--

[Naruto’s image fades as Madara strikes him with a kunai and laughs]

Madara: Annoying little pest isn’t he?

Sasuke: You! Why did you……….

[Scene dissolves and Sasuke wakes up]

Karin: Sasuke! Thank goodness! What happened to you?

Sasuke: What…….[Looks around and tries to sit up] Karin? Where?

[Sasuke’s vision seems slightly blurred]

Voice: In my dimension of course.

[Sasuke and Karin turn around to see Madara walking towards them calmly]

Sasuke: You……in your dimension? [Sasuke seems to be panting for breath]

Madara: Yes. Before we talk any further I suggest you heal yourself unless you want to give up your ambitions…….Uchiha Sasuke.

[Close up of Madara’s Sharingan through the mask]

Karin: Sasuke…….bite me. I still have chakra left to heal you.

[Sasuke hesitantly bites Karin’s hand and gets healed]

Madara: Now then Sasuke…….I have an offer to make. An offer which you won’t refuse.

Sasuke: ?

[Scene switches to the Kage meeting room]

Raikage: Can you tell us anything about Uchiha Madara?

Tsuchikage: Hmph. I guess it won’t hurt if I’m at least the superior who provides valuable advice. Listen up. You are against a man who fought with Senju Hashirama, the Shodaime of Konoha and lived to tell the tale.

Gaara: But I heard that he died in the battle against the Shodaime?

Mizukage: Then how is it possible that he’s still alive?

Tsuchikage: I have as little idea as you do as to how he survived. The issue here is not how he survived but that he is alive now. As long as he lives, he is very much capable of carrying out his threats.

Raikage: No old guy from the past is going to make a fool out of me! I don’t care whether he has any tailed beasts at all. I won’t let him get his hands on my brother and I’ll defeat him with my brother…….the very thing he wanted.

Mizukage: That is not easy Raikage. He’s a member of Akatsuki. Akatsuki controlled the Yondaime Mizukage like their plaything. Now that Uchiha Madara is alive, I’m inclined to think that he was the one behind all of the mess in our village.

Mifune: That’s what even I think. If someone such as Danzo, who was not even an Uchiha possessed such a dangerous ability of the Sharingan, I believe that it might have been so.

[Gaara hands over a scroll to Kankuro]

Gaara: Kankuro……I suppose you know what to do. Find Hatake Kakashi and get this to him as quickly as possible.

Kankuro: You got it. [Takes the scroll and leaves the room]

Tsuchikage: As I was saying, Madara is not a foe to be taken lightly. There is one more thing which Madara is capable of.

Raikage: You mean the Mangekyou Sharingan? That Uchiha brat here fought with it but he was over confident against me. I can deal with that.

Tschikage: You think you can defeat the Mangekyou Sharingan Raikage. But this is something worse…

[Tsuchikage smirks as looks of shock appear on everyone’s face except Gaara]

Mizukage: There’s a level beyond it?

Tsuchikage: You got that right.. When I fought Madara, I realized that his wasn’t a normal Sharingan. After I did my research, I found out that his eyes are what the Uchiha called The Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

Raikage: How did Madara obtain those?

Tsuchikage: Who knows…….I suppose he killed his own brethren to obtain it.

Mizukage: What?!!

[Scene switches to Naruto and Sakura]

Naruto: I’m sorry Sakura-chan. But this doesn’t sound like you.

Sakura: What do you mean Naruto? Why would I lie to myself? I’m telling you—

Naruto: I see the sadness in your eyes when you talk about Sasuke. You’re only trying to deny what your heart is telling you. You want to see him again as well. You like him.

Sakura: That isn’t………true Naruto—

Yamato: Kakashi-senpai let go of me. Sakura that’s enough!

[Sakura looks back in shock]

Sakura: Captain Yamato….?

Naruto: Let it be Captain Yamato. Sakura-chan, you might have thought of giving up on Sasuke, but I haven’t. I will keep chasing him because I consider him to be one of my most important bonds. This isn’t about you causing me any pain. Don’t worry Sakura-chan, I will save Sasuke. Team 7 will be re-united. I will do my best to achieve that.

Sakura:…..I’m sorry for what I did Naruto.

Sai: [thinking] Wow Naruto can talk himself out of a tough situation. I must learn that.

Kiba: Naruto……..Hinata wanted to speak with you.

Naruto: Yes…..I know….

Lee: [recovers from a mighty face palm] Sakura-san, Naruto will not change his ways no matter what we say. That is what I admire in him. He never gives up! That is the spirit of eternal youth!

Kiba: I have something to tell you as well Naruto. Sakura meant to talk you out of it. But now that you have told us about your decision………all of us have decided that from hence forth we will be the ones to bring down Sasuke……no matter what. Shikamaru agrees with this.

Naruto: YOU WHAT?!!

[Scene switches over to Kisame and Killerbee]

Killerbee: I’ll finish you in an instant and that’s what I always do cos’ I’m the bee!

Kisame: You’re an annoying Jinchuuriki aren’t you?

Killerbee: You won’t be talkin’ when I start rappin’ cos’ only I get to interrupt me!

[Inner Hachibi voice: I’m beginning to think you’re hopeless]

Kisame: I think I’ll finish you off quickly and kill that man over there as well…

Killerbee: You think so? [pulls out seven swords and charges at Kisame]

[Kisame dodges most attacks and blocks the last hit with Samaheda which breaks two of the swords. Killerbee falls back with a smile on his face. Kisame smirks at him]

Killerbee: So…..you aren’t fish fry after all! But worryin’ is nothin’ cos’ you’ll be fryin’ in somethin’! How was that master?

Enka Master: You get him my boy! After we’re done with this, we can sing all the way to glory!

Kisame: It seems we have quite the foolish crowd here. Allow me to reveal my true form. Samaheda is part of me!!

[Kisame grounds Samaheda and performs a few hand seals. His shark traits on his face start increasing as something seems to connect him to Samaheda]

Killerbee:[thinking] Looks like I have no choice but to go number eight sooner.

[Inner Hachibi voice: Here we go again…….]

[Scene switches to Madara and Sasuke]

Sasuke: An offer?

Madara: Yes. The fourth great Ninja war is about to begin. Sasuke, I want you to lead from the front against that annoying Kage Alliance. If you agree, I would readily hand over Itachi’s eyes over to you and powers far greater than you can imagine.

Karin: [thinking] What is he talking about? Why would Sasuke want his brother’s eyes?

Sasuke: [gets up] And what is the price for this?

Madara: Nothing. All you need to do is follow my orders no matter what. I will be your ally and act as your advisor.

Sasuke: I don’t need you to tell me what to do every time. I can manage everything on my own without any help from Itachi.

Madara: Arrogant are we? Do you want a repeat of what happened at the Kage meet? However I wish to offer you power. Ah yes it’s about time. Here we are.

[A dimensional rip opens into a cave. Madara, Sasuke and Karin step out to see a great statue rising from the ground with seven of its eyes open]

Karin: What the heck is that thing……

Madara: I want to help you achieve your ambitions Sasuke. And I know you can succeed by one way.

Sasuke: And that is?

[closeup of Madara’s sharingan]

Madara: With the power to control seven Bijuu at once, no one will stand in your way!
