478: A sudden victory

Itachi stands before Danzo. He smiles and Danzo smiles back. Sasuke looks over at Danzo and suddenly Itachi tries to attack Danzo but instantly Itachi vanishes as Danzo looks at Sasuke.
Danzo: "Nice try Sasuke but unlike your brother you are no where near as good at genjutsu."
Karin thinking: "So thats how he is doing it. Damn it I must warn Sasuke at once."
Karin smiles and Madara sees the smile then points to Karin.
Madara: "You will keep your mouth shut if you intend on living past this fight."
Karin thinking: "Damn it. He must know it too but does sasuke realize as well. hmm"
Danzo smiles and looks at Sasuke. Then he sheaths his sword and brings his hands together.
Danzo: "It would appear you have gained much since you left the leaf village sasuke but you are no where near ready to fight someone like me."
Sasuke gets angry and Danzo notes the anger on his face. Danzo looks up at Madara.
Danzo: "There is no point in me fighting this one. He is not ready. He has yet to reach the full potential of his sharingan."
Sasuke: "I will avenge the death of the uchiha clan!"
Sasuke charges forward and Danzo dodges a sword slash. Danzo grips sasuke by the throat and lifts him above the ground. Sasuke struggles and suddenly his eyes widen as he tries to free himself from Danzo's grip.
Madara: "So be it. You are right Danzo. He is not ready to face someone like you."
Danzo: "Then I will leave him in your capable hands."
Danzo drops Sasuke who has passed out on the ground and is laying on the ground in a stunned state. Danzo looks down at Sasuke.
Danzo: "If you and I have survived this conflict, I await our next fight. Till then remember the sacrifices your brother and your clan made. Do not make their sacrifices in vain."
Madara appears next to Danzo and releases Fuu and Torune next to Danzo.
Madara: "I believe these belong to you. You certainly have surrounded yourself with some very decent underlings."
Fuu: "Boss I don't know where we have been but I healed up Torune. If you want us to we can make another attempt to take out Madara."
Danzo: "Negative. We must return to the village as soon as possible. Madara will trouble us
no further. Correct?"
Madara: "Nothing more needs to be done. Sasuke is not ready to fight you but I must warn you that the other villages have all come together in an alliance to remove you from your position as hokage."
Danzo: "I will see what I can do to disrupt that alliance. Fuu. Torune. We must return to
konoha immediately with all due haste."
Fuu and Torune: "Right!"
Fuu, Torune, and Danzo all run away leaving Madara, Sasuke, and Karin behind. Sasuke is looking at the fleeing Danzo and reaches his arm out. Sasuke fades out unconscious. Madara looks down and places sasuke over his shoulder.
Karin thinking: "Damn it. Sasuke was so close but what is going on between Madara and Danzo?
Is there some kind of alliance between the two of them."
Madara looks up at Karin who is still looking at Danzo.
Madara thinking: "It would appear she has become a liability now. I appologize sasuke but I think I may just have to kill off one of your group's members."

Sakura, Sai, Kiba, and Lee are watching as Danzo leaves along with Fuu and Torune. Sakura turns to the others to see Kiba and even Lee have concerned looks on their faces.
Sakura: "Now is our chance. Sasuke is wounded and this may be our only time to take him out."
Kiba: "But you saw what that guy with sasuke did. We don't stand a chance against them."
Lee: "I am with you sakura but this is extremely dangerous."
Madara: "And what exactly were you intending on doing?"
The others turn around to see Madara standing in front of them with Sasuke on his shoulder along with Karin next to him. Sasuke look up slightly to see Sakura and the others.
Sasuke: "Saaakura?"
Sasuke collapses back on Madara's shoulder. Karin smiles and pulls out a hidden kunai.
Sakura: "We have come here to retrieve sasuke and bring him back to the leaf village."
Madara: "No. You have come here to kill Sasuke. I heard you myself."
Karin: "Lets just kill them and get it over with."
Madara turns to face Karin. Karin is suddenly surprised as she looks into his mask and at his eye with a nervous look on your face.
Madara: "It is time we determined your exact value to akatsuki. I therefore wish to make a bet."
Sakura: "ok."
Madara: "You will face off against Karin to the death. If you win I will give you sasuke. If you lose then your team mates will become prisoners of Akatsuki."
Kiba places his hand on her shoulder and shakes his head. Sakura moves away from his shoulder and looks at Madara square in the eye.
Sakura: "I accept!"
Karin: "Agreed!"
Madara: "Then the bet is on. If either of you attempt to flee I will kill the one that flees this fight."
Sakura: "I have no intention of fleeing this fight. I do not flee from fights I know I can win."
Karin giggles, wipes her glasses, and then pushes them onto her face.
Karin: "By the time this fight is over you just may wish you had chose to flee this fight."
Madara: "Follow me. You three stay where you are. Any interference will result in your immediate death."
Madara walks over to the clearing with Sakura and Karin following. They stop in the middle and look at each other while Madara moves to a nearby tree branch. Sakura pulls a kunai from her boot and prepares to fight while Karin smiles at her. Sakura suddenly charges forward and Karin in responce charges forward at her.

479: A desperate gambit. Sakura vs Karin

-Why won’t he stay down? Danzou’s taunt!

(The Chapter starts off exactly where it left off with Itachi’s presence hunting Danzou.)
Danzou: So that’s it huh? (Danzou has a short flash-back to when Sasuke was focusing his Mangekyou Sharingan intently at him right, after resurfacing from Sasuke’s assault. Immediately the scene cuts to Danzou barfing up blood. It appears that an Itachi is also behind Danzou. Apparently the rear end Itachi did a quick shank almost instantly, as the front Itachi does the same action.)

Ahhhh! So, Tsukuyomi takes my perception of Itachi’s abilities into account… What a frightening genjutsu he wields… (Danzou then collapses however, on the outside of the Tsukuyomi, it appears as though Sasuke just looked into Danzou’s eyes from a distance before passing out. The scene switches to Karin.)

Karin: What happened? He just fell over… Could it have been Sasuke’s genjutsu? (Scene switches over to Madara’s location.)

Madara: That’s all three Mangekyou Skills… This guy has no restraint… It’d been better if he had confirmed a target before wasting his strength on a decoy… (The Scene switches over to Sasuke’s location. He is holding his right eye and pants a little… Soon Sasuke hears Danzou’s voice.)

Danzou: Did you really think a genjutsu would work? (Karin and Sasuke are scared shitless. Danzou is standing behind Sasuke. Sasuke sweats heavily…) You fail because you lack… (Sasuke looks angry.)

Sasuke: Shut Up! YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME! (Sasuke turns around with quick reflexes, draws his katana, and then swings horizontally however, Danzou slips back and then backs up and lands distances away. The scene switches over to Karin who focuses on the area in which the Tsukuyomi was casted. She notices that a body is there, Danzou’s previous body. She soon gets shocked as it dissipates and vanishes.)

Karin: Again that has happened… (She remembers back to last chapter where Sasuke skewered Danzou… The arm of Danzou vanished into the thin air, the scene switches back to the present. Karin then yells to Sasuke at the top of her lungs.) SASUKE! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME DEALING WITH THEM! IT’S A GENJUTSU! FIND A WAY TO BREAK IT! (Scene switches over to the battle, Danzou and Sasuke looks over to Karin.)

Danzou: Hmph… So, what of it?… It’s just a simple Genjutsu right… Just break it? Or, unless you can’t… (Sasuke looks annoyed as he hears Danzou shit from the mouth. The scene switches over to Karin.)

Karin: Don’t listen to him! You have the sharingan too! It can decipher the codes behind jutsu and give you an answer to break it… (The Scene switches to Danzou. He smirks… The Scene then switches over to Madara’s.)

Madara: Sorry girlie, it doesn’t quite work that way. (The Scene switches back to the battle.)

Danzou: So, let me hear your answer? How are you going to deal with me? Depending on how you respond I might just recommend you go back to the academy… (Sasuke get’s heated.)

Sasuke: Why you? (Sasuke grunts and holds the handle of his blade tightly.)

Danzou: But you’re smarter than that. Now that you know, you are trying your hardest to break out… BUT let me tell you it isn’t that simple… (Karin yells from afar.)

Karin: Don’t listen to him, he’s only trying to rile you up! (The Scene switches back to the battle.)

Danzou: The sharingan is only as strong as it’s wielder. Yes, what the girl said was true however, even you know there are techniques in which you can’t copy or, break down.

Sasuke: Tsk…

Danzou: In order to copy, or break down a jutsu’s composition, you must meet the qualifications and requirements for said jutsu. With that being said, the sharingan isn’t always a guarantee against an opponent who has a knack or, talent far above your own. Sometimes, not even decades of training can close such a gab…

(Danzou lifts up his arm and shows it to Sasuke.) Unless you have a genjutsu awareness and or, the chakra level to disperse a genjutsu on the level of my own as well as on the level of the many other sharingan’s, your only choice is to give up and accept your fate. Not too many things you can do in this situation.

(Danzou then goes into a thought.) Good, that girl is also in the genjutsu. Though, it wasn’t likely that she’d have the chakra to dispel the genjutsu by pouring her chakra into Sasuke. (Danzou then looks up at Madara.) Could he do it? This genjutsu is far too strong, even for him. You’d need the control of a Bijuu… (End of Danzou’s thought. The Scene switches to Karin’s location. She is focusing on Sasuke’s chakra.)

Karin: Sasuke’s chakra is changing again…. (The scene switches over to Sasuke. We see a diagram of his chakra network. Darkness is erupted all around him. The Scene switches back over to Karin.)

Karin: His chakra… It’s cursed… It’s… It’s like before… That’s it! He can break it! (The Scene switches back to Sasuke’s chakra network. Black chakra is coursing through his body… Soon the scene switches back to Sasuke’s face. He opens his eyes and he sees Danzou somewhere on a cliff. Danzou is shocked.)

Danzou: I underestimated the power of the Mangekyou Sharingan and the sinister chakra that once controlled the Kyuubi like a pet. I wouldn’t have thought he’d come this far… You are indeed the embodiment of the Uchiha bloodline. And with that, baby sitting is over… (Danzou begins to unwrap his face. The scene switches over to Madara’s location.)

Madara: Shisui’s eye!? (The Scene switches to Danzou’s location, his right eye is unveiled. The right side of his face is extremely injured. It’s decrepit and just filled with scars.

Next Time: With Sasuke dispelling Danzou’s illusion, Danzou says kid games are over… What kind of power is it that Danzou plans to unleash?!

Karin: (What's up with him?! There's no doubt he should've died just then! There was only one source of Danzou's chakra, with me able to sense him, so there's no way it was Kage Bunshin! If that's the case...could it be genjutsu?)

Danzou: "!" Susano'o attacks *sfx Goggcha!*

Danzou: "Brothers...so while your powers are the same, what your eyes discern are different...the truth of Itachi and its implications isn't important enough to you/ You lie in the grip of hate, just wanting to lash out/ Making the sacrifice of the Uchiha clan for naught"

ダンゾウ「スゥー風遁・真空波！！」 サスケ 避けて ダンゾウを切り 腕が落ち瞳が 閉じる
Danzou: *sfx suu* "Fuuton: Shinkuuha!" Sasuke avoids it, cutting off Danzou's arm which falls and has a pupil shut

かりん「… ！！… これって… 」スウー落ちた 腕が消える
Karin: "...! This..." *sfx suu* It falls then the arm disappears

かりん「！！ピクン」
Karin: "!" *sfx-surprise*

ダンゾウ「無駄だ 」サスケダンゾウを睨み付け
Danzou: "It's no use."

ダンゾウ「！？」
Danzou: "?!"

ダンゾウ「！？」サスケの回りにカラスが そしてイタチの姿が
Danzou: "?!" Around Sasuke there's crows, and then Itachi's figure

ダンゾウ「！これは… ！！」 死んだはずのイタチが… 何故！？終わり
Danzou: "This is...!" Itachi, who should be dead....why?! The end

Naruto finds himself sitting in darkness. Naruto flashbacks to the valley of the end. Naruto scrapes the leaf symbol on the headband of sasuke while sasuke knocks him unconscious.
Naruto thinking: "Should I have killed him on that day?"
Naruto flashbacks to spending time with Jiraiya training together with both of them happy.
Naruto thinking: "Did I really fail him?"
Naruto closes his eyes and suddenly a quiet voice seems to call out from the darkness.
Voice: "They betrayed you just like I said they would. Your friends have deserted you. Your
lofty goals of peace have been shattered by a violent war. All you have left is you and me.
Just as it has always been."
Naruto turns around to see the kyubi is manifested right next to him.
Naruto: "Go away fox. Im in no mood to debate with you on your freedom."
The kyubi laughs to itself and then naruto stands up with his back turned to the kyubi.
Kyubi: "I overheard what was said by Madara and his plans. It seems my goals for freedom are now meaningless cause as long as Madara lives I will be hunted down by akatsuki."
Naruto: "But nothing can be done. I have failed in every direction I have turned. Now all I have left as you said is myself."
Kyubi: "Than maybe its time you stopped relying on your team mates and focus more on what must really be done in this situation."
Naruto: "And that is?"
Kyubi: "Put those goals of peace and friendship asside. You are meant for war not for peace."
Naruto: "What you suggest is to abandon all that I have been. My time as a genin. My friendship with so many people. Even my promise to those who have died. No I can not give that up."
Kyubi: "What other choice do you have? Your friends have abandoned you. your goals of peace are ruined. The only choice you have is to rely on yourself and me?"
Naruto: "What are you proposing we do?"
Kyubi: "For starters it is time we focus on our one goal. Our one target that above all must die."
Naruto: "Madara. But how do you propose we kill someone like that?"
Kyubi: "You are not the only one with many techniques. I too have many we can use to destroy akatsuki but there is one provision I request before we begin."
Naruto: "You want me to use your chakra and remove the seal?"
Kyubi: "No. This will be a far greater price than you have ever paid before but in turn it will grant you the power you need to defeat Madara."
Naruto: "What exactly are you gonna do?"
Naruto is being carried away on Yamoto's shoulder. Yamoto doesn't notice as a trickle of blood begins to flow from Naruto. Inside Naruto's mind, Naruto is screaming in pains as some black and red runes begin to appear all over his body while he is covered in a ball of light. At the same time the kyubi is curled around naruto in a position with its arms focus on naruto with all tails
pointing at Naruto.
Kyubi: "Soon you shall know the power of kyubi as you have never known it before."

Sasuke sees Danzo about to slash him when suddenly he realizes its a genjutsu and he breaks it instantly. Danzo is shown standing a distance away with is sharingan eyes on his arm all glowing. Danzo smiles and unsheaths his sword. Sasuke charges forward and uses chidori current on the ground near Danzo. Danzo jumps into the air easily doding the current while keeping an eye on Sasuke. Sasuke charges forward and attempts to slash Danzo as he lands but he easily parries the slash. The two of their swords hold tight against each other. Danzo smiles while sasuke backs up and attempts to slash Madara's legs. Madara easily dodges the slash and attempts to disarm sasuke with a slash to sasuke's arm. Sasuke counters with an upward slash that disarms Danzo instead. Danzo attempts to back up but Sasuke immediately brings his sword in for a stab but suddenly Danzo again vanishes.
Sasuke thinking: "But there were no hand signs. How did he vanish like that?"
Danzo almost hits a slash on sasuke but sasuke narrowly parries the slash at the last second as Danzo lands right next to him.
Madara thinking: "Interesting. His technique is almost as fast as mine."
Karin: "I don't know if Sasuke can keep up with Danzo like this for much longer."
Sasuke tries to hit danzo with a chidori while swinging the sword at Danzo's right side. Danzo parries the blade and then with his other arm hits a vicious uppercut to sasuke's jaw. Sasuke spits out blood as he lands backward with a shocked look on his face.
Karin: "Sasuke!"

Yamoto is sitting by a camp fire dozed off. Yamoto stirs awake at a loud crashing sound. He looks to see Naruto is missing.
Yamoto: "Damn it! Where is he? What was that noise?"
Yamoto looks and sees a ball of red light in the distance. Yamoto runs over to find Naruto with 3 other clones that have angry looks on their faces. One nods its head and then begins to perform hand signs. Suddenly the clone explodes into balls of chakra energy that seem to float in the air. The balls then form together into one big ball that floats above naruto. The others begin to add wind chakra while another goes sage and begins adding sage chakra. The clones disperse leaving only Naruto by himself. The ball begins to ripple and grow to a far larger size than before.
Yamoto thinking: "What is Naruto doing? That attack is extremely powerful and very unstable."
The wind seems to suddenly pick up as wind is pushing things back from naruto. A crater forms around Naruto as the energy ball begins to rise from the ground. Yamoto quickly turns around and runs as fast as he can before hiding behind a boulder. Suddenly a huge explosion occurs as the ball explodes in a huge wave of energy. Yamoto tries to peak over the side only to see the land has been annihilated by a huge wave of chakra. Naruto stands in there giggling but his eyes are kyubi eyes. Yamoto suddenly feels a burning pain on his hand is shocked to see the 9 tails on his hand. Yamoto ducks back behind the boulder.
Yamoto: "Shit! What the hell is going on here?!"
Suddenly the kyubi naruto lifts up the boulder and tosses it asside as a shocked Yamoto looks at Naruto whos face is showing an evil looking grin with a kyubi eye and a sage eye.
Kyubi Naruto: "Behold for you are the first witness to my return. Go back to Konoha and tell the others the kyubi is free once again."
Yamoto has a horrified look on his face while the Kyubi laughs evily at Yamoto's shocked expression.

Naruto Chapter 481 : The Madness Begins

(Sasuke notices Danzou’s presence as he turns around. Danzou draws out his short-sword and diagonally slashes with his left hand. With quick reflexes, Sasuke draws out his katana with his right hand [though since Sasuke doesn’t have the time to reposition his blade, he ends up in a defensive stance with the tip of his blade pointing downward] and as he completes his full turn, the two blades crosses as sparks fly across the area. Danzou and Sasuke then break apart from each other and back off maybe a few meters separating them. The scene switches to Karin in the small crevice near the fight.)

Karin: A clone? I was fooled too… It had to of been. Sasuke’s sharingan would have saw through a genjutsu… (The scene drops back on to the battle.)

Sasuke in thought: What were those hand seals for? That substitution clone? (Sasuke remembers back to when Danzou made the rabbit, boar, and sheep hand signs.)

(Danzou smirks.)

Danzou: I see…

Sasuke: Bastard! (Blood drops from Sasuke’s left eye. Danzou is shocked.)

Danzou: Amatearsu!? (Soon Danzou is engulfed in black flames. He is screaming and doing the stop drop and roll [lol] Karin cheers from her crevice…)

Karin: Well, that’s all she wrote… (Switches back to the battle. )

Sasuke: Hmph… (Sasuke turns his back and begins walking however, immediately Danzou is behind Sasuke again. Sasuke gets angry… He turns around to face Danzou… Sasuke closes his left and focuses with his right eye.)

Sasuke: STOP FUCKIN AROUND WITH ME! (Danzou falls over from an apparent Tsukukyomi.)

Karin: It has to be over now, that’s the strongest illusion! I don’t sense anything else…

(Danzou lands in front of Sasuke [from where ever] Karin is shocked.)

Karin: Multiple shadow clones? Their chakras all felt the same, so they must be… But his chakra just came out of nowhere. What the hell is going on here?

Danzou: The experiment is over by the way. (The Scene switches to the Cabin. Naruto is in bed sleeping.)

Mysterious voice: Take me to Sasuke… (Naruto sits up frightened, all of a sudden he starts gagging.) Naruto: AHGAHGAHGH! (A crow flies out of his both then forms into the guise of Itachi.)

Itachi: Why so shocked? I sealed part of me inside of you for a reason. It’s running on a limited chakra, so don’t force anything… By this time I must already be dead considering what Sasuke is up to…

Naruto Screeching : EEEEEEEK! (Yamato comes crashing in.)

Yamato: What’s wrong Naruto, we needed to start-HOLY MOTHER OF!

Itachi:……

(The scene drops on Madara who is overlooking the battle field.)

Madara: I should’ve seen this coming… If Danzou is planning “That” it could in fact put Sasuke at a huge disadvantage in this battle… (The Scene drops back on the battle, we see the picture distorting and eventually cracking all across the area, showing the dispelling of a genjutsu however, Karin and Sasuke failed to notice the change when they were let out of the genjutsu.)

Danzou in thought: He can use Katon and has amplified Chidori variations from what the records say. Not to mention his Mangekyou techniques. He couldn’t tell that he was in my genjutsu… This will easily fall into my favor… (Danzou makes the Kage Bunshin no jutsu hand sign and produces one shadow clone. Sasuke takes notice as the scene switches to Karin.)

Karin: Another shadow clone? (The Scene switches over to Madara’s location.)

Madara In Thought: I thought so… Danzou picked up on Sasuke’s inability to sense that level of genjutsu… The sharingan usually can tell if someone is formed by a genjutsu by studying the unequal chakra patterns of the attacker. However in this the case, victim with the sharingan is placed in a genjutsu by a technique that controls how the victim perceives his natural surroundings.

The attacker’s chakra mimics the chakra patters of a perfectly normal person, so even the sharingan is fooled. That makes this level of genjutsu quite deadly. Danzou’s genjutsu is much more subtle yet, it’s a dangerous genjutsu that’s hard to detect. If one doesn’t have usually high genjutsu awareness, that person can’t break it. You have to know you’re in a genjutsu to break it…

This is perhaps a bad opponent for Sasuke. I might have to get involved, Sasuke wasn’t a genjutsu type to begin with…(The Scene switches back to the battle. Danzou’s shadow clone rushes forward. )

Sasuke: It’s just a shadow clone…. (As it gets closer, Danzou’s clone makes the same hand signs as before.) What does it mean?

(The Shadow clone extends its right hand like he’s doing a straight right punch. Sasuke avoids by slipping his head.)

Danzou in thought from a distance: Success… (The shadow clone in front of Sasuke makes a hand sign. Then Danzou draws out his short-sword from afar, while Sasuke stands in front of the shadow clone not moving an inch while the real Danzou prepares to attack. The Scene switches over to Madara as he’s worried.)

Madara: That’s Danzou’s skill. In order to fight while he focuses on genjutsu, he needs a separate body. Hmm, Sarutobi was also known for his proficiency with the shadow clone jutsu however, in order for Danzou to stand in his light, he also became proficient in the jutsu. It seems those two youngsters uses shadow clones to split up the work needed for casting their jutsu.

(Kakashi’s dogs are in front of him; Yamato is holding Naruto on his right shoulder)
Kakashi: Pakkun, Akino, Guruku, Bull, go to Konoha and send the information I just told you to the Jounin. Be careful with the Root ANBU nins.
Pakkun: Don’t worry about us, Kakashi.

Danzou: Magen: Jubaku Satsu. ** (some vines appear, grabbing Susano’o’s bones and trying to pull them apart.)
Danzou: Those eyes will be mine, ending your wretched clan once and for all.
Sasuke: YOU!!! When I catch you…
Danzou: How do you think you can catch me in the darkness?
Sasuke: You should know I thrive in the darkness… (Susano’o’s sword appears) Finally, I’ll take my revenge on Konoha! (Susanoo thrusts its sword to the vines origin; nothing happens)
Danzou: My, my, my, how quick you are to dismiss those who raised you. You’re nothing more than a lowly rogue, like all of your clan…
Sasuke: Raised me? All I had was a bunch of lies, arranged by you, hypocrite!
Danzou: Hmpf, feisty.

(Karin Scene)
Karin: (thinking) The Kirigakure’s crew is here! I should warn Sasuke, but he’s fighting… what should I do?!

(Mei Scene)
(Mei, Ao and Choujuurou arrive to a tree’s branch, near Sasuke’s location)
Ao: As I told you, Sasuke is with him, Mizukage-sama.
Mei: I see. They seem to be motionless… a genjutsu fight?
Ao: It seems so.
Choujuurou: What happened to his guards?
Mei: (points at Madara, in the opposite side) I think Madara took care of them.
Ao: I still can’t believe he’s alive, but I trust your word…
Choujuurou: So, what should we do about Danzou?
Mei: I think we should wait until they separate. We don’t know what Madara is capable of, so let’s focus only in Danzou.

(Madara Scene)
(Zetsu appears near Madara)
Madara: So, do we have the Hachibi?
Zetsu: (with his leaves closed; sounds muffled) Hmrgphrargh.
Madara: Uh?
White Zetsu: (opens his leaves and spits Kisame’s head) That’s why.
Madara: (facepalms) …
Dark Zetsu: An unfortunate event, but quite tasty. If you don’t mind, I need to nourish myself…
White Zetsu: Yes, since the Raikage snapped my neck I need to rest.
Madara: Very well, we’ll meet in the hideout, I need to reformulate my plans.
White Zetsu: What about the other two Taka Team members?
Dark Zetsu: Who cares about them? Now pick Kisame’s head, I’m hungry. (picks up the head, closes his leaves and disappears)

Sasuke: (he covers Susano’o with Amaterasu) Enton: Kagutsuchi! (dark flames fly from Susano’o towards Danzou)
Danzou: Blade of Wind. (he waves his hand, forming a strong gust of wind that blocks Kagutsuchi) Your attacks are wasted on me. (Kagutsuchi receeds back to Susano’o)
Sasuke: You talk too much.
Danzou: Well, I said “let’s talk with our eyes”, remember? (unwraps the clothes covering his right eye) See, you’re not the only one owning the secrets of the Mangekyo Sharingan… (his Sharingans start to transform into Mangekyo Sharingans with a triquetra pattern on them)
Sasuke: You’re mad if you think I’ll allow that! (Susano’o thrusts his sword towards Danzou; the attack is stopped by a chakra-formed dragon with watery patterns that surrounds Danzou, grasping Susano’o’s sword with its claws) What the…?!
Danzou: Surprised by Ryuujin **?

*Demonic Illusion Shackling Stakes.
** Ryuujin (aka Watatsumi) is the guardian of the sea, born from Izanagi’s ceremonial purification rituals after he returned from the Underworld; Susano’o is the god of the sea, born from Izanagi’s nose.

(Sakura Scene)
(Kiba sniffs the air)
Kiba: I caught Sasuke’s scent! (Sakura looks shocked)
Lee: Yosh!
Sai: …
Kiba: But it seems that Danzou and that masked Akatsuki are near him. Should we still go after Sasuke?
Sakura: Yes. We won’t give up now.

Sasuke avoids just in time. and the Katon continues and phases through Madara.

"In deed, let's do just that" Sasuke replies landing at Danzou's side.

"Oh, so you understand subtle messages, huh?" Danzou seems pleased.
Sasuke's eyes avert from Madara a second and he stares at Danzou.
"Wipe that smug of your face. Your next Danzou!"
"Hmmpphh, don't flatter yourself brat."

They both turn towards Madara that has been watching it all.

"My My, your full of surprises, aren't you Sasuke....."
"Not!" Madara's voice is suddenly behind both Sasuke and Danzou!!


Switch scene to Sakura and team:

They are moving through the land of Iron. Sakura thinks of Naruto.

Kiba: - "Sakura!! I have picked up the scent of Sasuke!"

All is astonished by this news!! They land and stop to regroup.

"Sasuke..." Sakura seems to be in deep thought."I hoped there would be more time to prepare" She thinks to herself.. Sakura looks up determined.
"We need to find him as fast as possible, if we are lucky we can end this quickly!"

Everyone looks at each other and at Sakura worried by her words.

"Sakura... I am sorry for doing this but I can't allow you to go any further." Sai stands in front of Sakura.

"What are you talking about Sai?" Sakura is confused but seems irritated.

"I have told Naruto about everything. This is my fault Sakura, I should never have told you the things I did. Kakashi is coming here to stop you. As a part of team7.."

Sai is interrupted as Sakura strikes at him with full force. She hits him in the guts and he flies to the ground hard. In a poof he disappears.

"Show yourself Sai!" Sakura screams in rage!

Sai walks out from behind a tree, suddenly he seems to be shocked. " I...I just released my shadow clone, what.."

"Enough! Why did you tell Kakashi and Naruto! You promised me!" Sakura's voice is upset.
"Because it is not right Sakura. You know this! " Sai shows a great deal of emotion.

"I have made up my mind! Out of my way!!" Sakura launches at Sai with another punch, crying.
Sai averts the punch by jumping up in the air, landing behind Sakura.

"Sakura!! There is no time for this!! Naruto!! He.. He is not well!" Sai seems to be very upset and confused. Sakura looks shocked at him. He is crying. "Kakashi wants you to return and help!!

Switch scene:

There is darkness all around..A growling is in the background...

"Where am I?...." Naruto slowly gets up from the floor. He looks around and discovers the Kyuubi gate. "You!..." he whispers between his teeth. "This is all your fault!! All this strife, because of you and your kind!! Who am I!?"

Naruto falls to his knees again and holds his chest as his head is bowed. He is crying. "It is to much, I can't save everybody! Why is everything turning out this way!!"

"Why indeed....grrrrrr" The kyuubi responds to his complain. "You would be much better of if you released me!! "

Naruto looks up in anger. "Oh yeah!? I still remember what happened last time I almost released you!! You hurt everyone I love!! You try to take control!" Naruto is furious"

"You can shout at me if you want, but the fact is you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me...grrrrr......I saved you!!" The Kyuubi growls again at Naruto.

"Saved!? You just tried to take over!!" Naruto walks over to the cage and punches his fist into it. The Kyuubi backs of.

"I only did that because your weak!! I will not be contained in a weak person!! Look at you!? grr he he.." The Kyuubi taunting Naruto's weakness.

Naruto gets a furious look in his eyes and he meets the Kyuubis stare head on. " I am stronger than you!!"

The Kyuubi's eyes narrow. "Then Show it boy!! grrr.... Show it and i will lend you my power!! grrr.... If not! Then release me and let me take care of things, as it should be!! grrr..."

Naruto is astounded by these words. "Show....you....." he whispers.
" You have the key right??" The Kyuubi replies to Naruto's whisper. "Then you can show me your resolve!"


What is the Kyuubi plotting now?! What is this key!?

Seeing Danzō's Sharingan makes Sasuke livid. He attacks with Chidori Nagashi and such, but they are easily dodged.
Danzō was once Orochimaru's sponsor, supplying him with money, human bodies and such.
The Sharingan were transplanted using the data Orochimaru left behind.
Incidentally, the Sharingan migrated to Danzō's arm. (A zuzuzu sound gives the impression they are moving)
Karin says something like "the eyes are living on their own."
Danzō uses the technique "Ama no Iwato¹" to cover the surroundings in total darkness.
In the sky is a huge Sharingan.
Kiba picks up the smell of Sasuke and co. However, he is hesitant in informing Sakura about their whereabouts.
He secretly discusses it with Lee and Sai. Sai's clone passes on the information to Kakashi.
Kakashi concludes it is too dangerous to take Naruto to the Akatsuki and Sasuke if he doesn't have an answer.
Naruto, Yamato, and Pakkun head back to the village to report on the Five Kage summit.
[Kakashi] heads for Sakura's location, together with Sai's clone.

-Danzou vs. Sasuke

(Madara and Karin escape to higher elevation watching the battle from different angles. Scene drops on Madara.)

Madara: This is what you’ve been waiting for. Let me see how strong hatred has made you. (Scene drops on Karin’s location.)

Karin in thought mode: He’s just recovered from facing the Kages… Please don’t over exert yourself… But Madara is here, everything should be alright if things get too bad. But Danzou’s chakra… Are all those sharingan on his right arm?

(Scene drops on Sasuke and Danzou’s location; Sasuke glares at Danzou’s right arm from a distance.)

Sasuke: You’ll pay... YOU’LLL PAY FOR WHAT YOU’VE DONE! (Danzou smirks… Sasuke quickly makes the ox and monkey hand seals. He then grabs his left hand with his right hand, which forges the Chidori. )

Danzou: Hatake Kakashi’s jutsu… (Sasuke then extends it into the shape of Chidori Sharp Spear, this causes Danzou to back up a bit to avoid being impaled.) Hmm, interesting, so he can add more shape manipulation to an already deadly jutsu, changing its purpose… (Soon Sasuke tosses the Chidori Sharp Spear like a spear, much to the shock of everyone around him. Danzou however, slips to his left to avoid the attack. Danzou positions his right hand outward but bent. Soon, Danzou notices that Sasuke is within meters of attacking him.)

Danzou in thought mode: It was a feint for me to fall victim to his body flicker… (Danzou quickly draws out his short-sword with his left hand and holds it vertically. Danzou positions his body so that Sasuke’s chidori charged katana prepares to be blocked. Sasuke smirks.)

Sasuke in thought: Heh, he can’t defend like that… (Inches before Sasuke’s blade hits Danzou’s, Danzou’s blade is engulfed in wind chakra. Soon CLASH! Sasuke is knocked off balance as his blade flies out of his hand and lands faraway in back of him.) Damn…. Wind chakra…

(Madara and Karin look on intently… Immediately Danzou reaches in with his right hand, preparing to gouge out Sasuke’s left eye however, Sasuke quickly slips his head to the left. Soon all of Danzou’s sharingans gets a close up on Sasuke’s chakra network and notices that electrical charges are emerging.)

Danzou: Hmmmm. (Danzou immediately backs off further distances away as Sasuke’s body crackles with small electrical currents of Chidori. The crackling then stops.)

Sasuke in thought: He saw the nature of Chidori Nagashi before I even activated it… With those sharingan, he can probably read all of my jutsu from a variety of angles at rapid timing… But, I should have more stamina then he… (Sasuke activates Mangekyou Sharingan as the scene switches over to Madara.)

Madara: Ohh… (Switches back to the battle. Danzou takes notice of Sasuke’s Mangekyou Sharingan from afar.)

Danzou: All the more reason why I must have those eyes be a part of my collection… A different breed indeed, just likes that Uchiha Itachi who got away…

Sasuke: AHH! Go TO HELL! (Sasuke activates Amaterasu. Immediately Danzou prepares a jutsu [makes several handseals] he then expels mud on the ground and builds it up until it reaches the size of a Donton Wall. Same exact jutsu used by Sarutobi. The black flames of Amatearsu collide with the Wall of Earth instantly. Sasuke holds his eye in and pain and disappointment.)

Sasuke: Tsk! (The Scene switches over Sakura’s platoon. Immediately Kiba and Akamaru stop moving which places the team in shock.)

Sakura: What’s up guys?

Kiba: I’m picking up Sasuke’s scent! (Everyone else is shocked.)

Lee: Then why we stop man!

Kiba: I’m picking up that strange Akatuski from before as well as a couple others, one of which smells familiar.

Sai:….

Kiba: I don’t think it would be safe to proceed, that’s why I’m stopping here. Sakura, you organized this joint. What do you suppose we do now? Head back to request for aide?

Sakura: If we leave now, we’ll probably never find Sasuke’s scent again.

Lee: BUUT!

Sakura: Kiba, lead the way…

Sai:….

Kiba:….

(The Scene switches over to the Cabin. Team Hokage stands outside the establishment. Naruto is still down in his funk. Kakashi walks over and places his hand on Naruto’s shoulder.)

Kakashi: Naruto… Do what it is that needs to be done. That’s all the advice I have to offer. (Naruto lifts his head up.)

Naruto:…..

Kakashi: Yamato and I have to head back for Konoha but, our top priority is the safety of Sakura and the others. Do you understand Naruto…?

Naruto: Leave Sakura and Sasuke to me… (Kakashi and Yamato look intently at Naruto’s response. The Scene switches back over to the battle between Sasuke and Danzou. Two Shuriken are flying at Sasuke. Sasuke has a hard time focusing on them due to his vision, so he cancels Mangekyou Sharingan.)

Sasuke’s Thought: I’ve overused the Mangekyou Sharingan during my fight against the Kages… (Sasuke then ducks to avoid the Shuriken coming at his head. Switch Scene to Madara.)

Madara: He must not have enough in him to finish Danzou off. Sasuke’s suffering from the side effects of overusing the Mangekyou Sharingan… His body isn’t even moving as swiftly as it had been earlier…

(Switches back to the battle. Three Kunai then fly at Sasuke’s location. Sasuke jumps into the air. Then Danzou tosses a Kunai with an exploding tag on it towards Sasuke’s location in the air.)

Sasuke: Damn. (As it explodes Sasuke quickly makes a strings of handseals.) Katon: Great Fire Jutsu! (The jutsu combats the explosion and condenses the attack. Sasuke then lands on the ground exhausted. Danzou begins walking towards Sasuke’s location while Sasuke is still tired from his previous battles with the Kages. Scene switches to Karin’s location.)

Karin: NOT GOOD! His recovery was cut too short after all...(Switches back to the battle. Danzou is right in front of the kneeling Sasuke.)

Danzou: Before I plucked these eyes of yours. I’ll let you in on a little secret, because what Madara is telling you isn’t at all how I remember things based off your actions to kill me. (Scene switches to a flash back. Itachi is in his Anbu-Attire and he is speaking with Danzou in a secret room.)

Danzou: As much as the Uchiha are a problem for me, to simply comply with your plan, you’d have to provide me with some evidence to convince Homura and Koharu of this. (Itachi nods his head. The Scene switches back to the present.) In actuality, Itachi-(Sasuke looks on intently however, Immediately Madara’s head emerges from the ground and uses his arm and body to smuggle’s Danzou’s lower body.)

Let go of me!

Madara: QUICKLY KILL HIM! ALL LIES! (Sasuke quickly makes the handseals for Chidori as he stands up.)

Sasuke: AHHHHHHHHH! (Seconds from striking Danzou down with the chidori the chapter ends.)

Kiba: Sakura, Sasuke’s scent just appeared about a quarter mile east but there are others with him. It smells like that mask Akatsuki, a female &…. no this can’t be right…

Sakura: What is it Kiba?

Kiba: I smell Danzou’s scent but it seems like he doesn’t have his guards with him. I can pick up a feint amount of their scent but it appears as though they vanished some how…

Sai tries to speak but can’t The only thing that comes out of his mouth is “Itachi”.

Sai thinking: So Sasuke knows the truth about the Uchiha massacre…. I wish I could tell them but this blasted seal won’t let me…

Sakura looks over at Sai as he’s trying to speak.

Sakura: It’s that seal isn’t it Sai? You want to tell us something don’t you?

Sai: I’m sorry Sakura….

Sakura: It seems for whatever reason Sasuke is targeting Danzou. Regardless of the type of man he is Danzou is still our Hokage & as such we must not let Sasuke harm him. Let’s hurry!

Sai/Lee/Kiba: Right!

Team Naruto
Naruto: Sai… can you tell me where Sakura is headed now?

Sai: Last I left my main body they were headed south east.

Naruto: Kakashi we need to stop Sakura before she gets herself hurt. I understand she means well but those four have no chance at stopping Sasuke on their own. If Sasuke has truly embraced the dark side of the force there’s no telling what he’ll do to them if provoked…

Kakashi: I guess you’re right but I need to return to the village as soon as possible which kind of complicates things.

Naruto: I’m going to see if I can pickup their location with Sage mode.

Naruto closes his eyes & starts to meditate.

Naruto: Ok… I found Sakura’s chakra… they seem to be moving fast like they’re chasing something…

Naruto concentrates more to broaden his sensory perception. Naruto suddenly opens his eyes with a shocked look in his face.

Yamato: What is it Naruto?

Naruto: It’s… it’s Sasuke… it seems… as though he’s…. he’s found Danzou!!

Kakashi/Yamato/Sai have shocked looks in their faces.

Sasuke & Danzou
Sasuke: Before I kill you Danzou can you answer one question for me?

Danzou: Ha as if a brat like you would stand a chance against me! You’ll be dead soon enough so I’ll humor you for a moment. What do you want to know?

Sasuke: Why did you choose my brother for the assassination?

Danzou: I see Madara has been telling his stories again… Your brother was the best of Root & the most powerful shinobi in Konoha. Choosing Itachi for the assassination of the Uchiha was the path of least resistance. Sure I could have used others but none would have been able to get the Uchiha off their guard. An attack from the inside was the most logical plan of action against those rebellious Uchiha.

Sasuke: Root you say? It seems as though members of this Root mite have been involved as well. Thank you Danzou now I know who I’m looking for. Amaterasu!!!

Danzou covers his face with his arm as Sasuke tries to summon Amaterasu the flames hit the arm & vanish in an instant.

Sasuke: What!?!

Danzou: You didn’t think it would be that easy did you!

Danzou draws his katana & Shushin’s to Sasuke’s location & attacks with a downward lash. Sasuke manages to draw his katana in time & focuses ration chakra into his blade. Sasuke’s blade starts to crack.

Danzou: Naive neophyte Fuuton has a greater cutting power when compared to Raiton!

Sasuke looks shocked as his sword brakes in half & he’s slashed across the chest. Sasuke was able to put up a low level Susano’o last minute so the wound isn’t too deep. Sasuke does a backflip & get’s into a fighting stance.

Madara: Hey Sasuke you want some help?

Sasuke: You stay out of this Madara! After I kill Danzou you’re next on my list!

Madara: Fine have it your way but you better watch out for those eyes.

Sasuke activates MS & attempts to use Tsukuyomi but Danzou anticipates it & puts his arm in front of his face again.

Sasuke: ARRHH!!!!

Sasuke falls to his knees & holds his eye in pain.

Sasuke thinking: He… he countered my Tsukuyomi!

Danzou: None of your dojutsu will work so long as I have this arm!

Danzou charges at Sasuke with his sword drawn & Sasuke activates Susano’o to block it. Danzou throws his sword to the ground & activates a hand sign. The eye in his actual hand changes shape into an MS pattern and he places it on Susano’o. Suddenly Susano’o starts to brake apart. Sasuke falls to his knees as he tries to maintain Susano’o.

Danzou: This eye here is specifically special to me. Out of all my sharingan only two have achieved PMS status by combining both of the original users eyes together after my subordinates met the requirements to active it’s power. Unfortunately the other Uchiha’s did not have the potential to achieve MS. I lost allot of root members due to these experiments.

Sasuke: You’re… you’re a monster!

Danzou’s arm starts in penetrate the Susano’o & get’s closer to Sasuke’s neck.

Danzou: The one in my head is a combination of Shisui ‘s eyes while the one in my hand is a combination of Fugaku’s. Quite an amazing ability your father’s eyes had. By simply looking at the opponent they’re able to draw out & absorb the victim’s chakra into my body to enhance my strength. However the vision on this eye is extremely limited due to the location on my body. At this range though if I simply touch your chakra I can absorb it!

Sasuke: My… father…. You fucking bastard I’ll kill you no matter what it cost me!!!

Suddenly Sasuke’s chakra skyrockets & pushes Danzou back a few feet. Sasuke stands covered in a dark aura as his hair begins to stand.

Madara: O shit Sasuke just went SSJ!

フー『攻撃のために物理攻撃をもつ時は実体化する…　つまりカウンターを狙えばいい』
マダラ『よく理解した…　いい分析だ』

トルネ、フーに耳打ち（カウンターのタイミングを意図的に作る　オレ達の攻撃を連続でしかけ
二段階で行う　一段目は囮役だ）
フー（囮役はオレがやる…　…心転身の術は読まれているしな　お前メインでいく）

トルネ、口で自分の手袋を外す
フー、マダラに突っ込む。避けるマダラ
隙が出来た時にトルネ（ここだ！！）

範囲を広くするために服を脱いだ
が、後ろからマダラ。仮面に渦巻き、トルネを吸い込む
フー『くそ！』（トルネごと吸い込んだだと！？）
マダラ『右腕が毒蟲に感染してしまったな…』
マダラ自分で右腕外す。右腕地面に落ちる

地面に落ちた右腕を蹴るマダラ
前かがみになり避けるフー
地面から顔だけだしマダラ『次はお前だ』

仮面に渦まき、フーを吸い込むマダラ



肩に手を置きガアラ『…』
ナルトなんとも言えない顔
ガアラ後ろを向き『…』

マダラ『お前は下がっていろ…　巻き込まれれば死ぬぞ』

そばを離れるカリン。　柱の上に移動マダラ


器具が外れ、包帯を取ると
ダンゾウの右手には無数の、写輪眼
ダンゾウ『お前達の写輪眼も頂くとしよう』


ベールを脱いだダンゾウの右腕に…数多の写輪眼！！！

475: Madara shows his true worth!!

Fū: "No, he disappeared completely"

Madara reappears from their rear
As he turns around quickly, Fū cuts him with a sword
Madara's mask is pierced by the sword, but it slips through. Madara doesn't pay attention to it and grabs Fū's arm.

Then Torune throws a kunai at Madara
The kunai hits the mask, bu~~t it slips through.
After that, Fū gets away from Madara.

Madara: "Sensing and the hand-seal for Shintenshin... You're a Yamanaka, right...?"
Torune: "When he lets the enemy's attack slip through in order to protect himself, he gets rid of the entire substance of his body"
Fū: "He has to rematerialise if he wants to make a physical attack... In other words, we should aim to counter that"

Torune whispers into Fū's ear: (in order to intentionally create a timing for the counter, we have to continuously attack him and move in two steps. The first step is a decoy)
Fū: (I'll be the decoy... ...The Shintenshin no Jutsu cannot be read. You do the main move.)
Torune: (Understood)

Torune takes off his gloves with his mouth
Fū plunges into Madara. Madara evades.
As the chance appears Torune goes (There!!)
Madara evades. The momentum of the attack isn't broken and the counter punch hits Fū's left hand
Fū collapses. Fū's left hand has been invaded by a fungus? and starts rotting?

With the glove off, the cells of everything he touches break down.
Torune: (That guy... He only pretended to attack... Damnit! He tricked us...!)
Madara: "..."

Madara checks the collapsed Fū's state with his Sharingan
Madara: "Hmm... A technique that destroys cells by flowing chakra into them... How troublesome"

Torune gets besides Fū: "I'm sorry Fū. I'll undo it immediately"
Madara: "!"

Chapter 475: Alliance born of hatred

Danzou and Madara face off! What will result from this??

Madara: Well it looks like I’m quite the unwelcome party over here....

Danzou: Fuu, Torune…back me up but don’t engage him directly. Not until I tell you so.

Madara: Such pride. I would have liked to defeat you all here but I have come here for a different reason.

Danzou: A different reason? You amuse me Uchiha Madara.

Madara: The fourth great ninja war has been declared. I have seven tailed beasts as of now and the eighth will soon be in my hands.

Danzou: ……..

Madara: I heard that the Kages now view you as an…outcast. My, my…what a pity.

Danzou: I’m very well aware of the situation. I don’t need Akatsuki to tell me what to do. From what I heard, your numbers are pitiful themselves these days. No matter. This will end now.

[Danzou grounds his walking stick and jumps towards Madara who seems to just wait at the same spot. Fuu and Torune follow immediately and surround Madara from two sides and Danzou strikes with his mechanical arm head on. Madara dodges it with relative ease and blocks Fuu and Torune’s attacks with their swords with his hands.]

Madara: I didn’t come here to fight however it may seem to be. I just came here to-!

Danzou: That is none of my concern. Fuu, Torune! [Makes a few handseals and releases wind blades]

[Madara kicks away Fuu and Torune who retreat further back and jumps out of the way of the wind blades to see Danzou making another handseal]

Danzou: Fuuton: Great Wind of Nature!

[Danzou jumps back as the air around Madara turns enemy as each gust of wind attempts to strike at his body. Something twists in the air near Madara’s mask and he gets hit by numerous attacks, each stronger than the next.]

Madara: Such a wonderful attack indeed. You can put it to good use instead of wasting it.

[Danzou looks back to see Madara standing on top of a tree. The other one is shown to be a shadow clone as it disperses]

Danzou: [thinks] I cannot allow him to catch me off guard before I remove this seal.

Madara: As I was saying before, I came here only to speak with you.

Danzou: And what would an Akatsuki have to tell me? [fingers his bandages on the right eye]

Madara: !

Danzou: Well?

Madara: I see……Uchiha Shisui’s chakra. You already know that I have the Sharingan as well. That petty trick of yours won’t work on me.

Fuu: Danzou-sama……?

Danzou: Stay where you are. Now what did you want to tell me?

Madara: Heh!

[Scene switches to Naruto and the others]

Gaara: So..what is your decision Naruto?

Naruto:….

Kakashi: Let’s head back to Konoha as soon as possible. For all we know, Danzou might end up turning the tide in his favour unless we convey what really happened.

Yamato: [thinks] I wonder how Kakashi-senpai will adapt to a Hokage’s way of life. He won’t be that happy if he doesn’t get enough time to laze around I suppose.

Kakashi: [thinks] So it was Uchiha Shisui’s ability. No wonder Danzou did all he could to get his hands on that Sharingan before the massacre began.

Kakashi: We can also come to the conclusion that Danzou overruled the feudal lord using the technique in the Sharingan eye. I wonder if only Sharingan users could manage to counter it. Alright! Let’s get going.

Kankuro: We’ll accompany you to Konoha as well.

Temari: Yeah. We all need to stick together now.

Gaara: …

[They take off at a run towards Konoha]

[Naruto has a flashback where Shikamaru speaks with him]

Shikamaru: We will help you in saving Sasuke. He is a Konoha ninja and more importantly, he’s our comrade.

[Flashback ends]

Yamato: Kakashi-senpai, leave it to me to inform the jounin about your new status. I think you better tell the feudal lord about what Danzou has done.

Kakashi: Thanks. And…Naruto…[Kakashi looks seriously at him]don’t worry about Sasuke for now.

Naruto: [is silent for a moment] Understood. When we get back I need to speak with Shikamaru. There’s one last thing I need to do. Please go on. I’ll catch up.

[Naruto stops and goes into sage mode and shouts Tajuu Kage Bunshin no jutsu! About 3 clones appear]

Naruto: Alright guys. Go and search every nook and corner for Sakura and her team. If you find anything suspicious or even Sasuke, be careful and just investigate for now.

Clones: Yes sir!

[Kakashi looks at the clones as they disappear from the corner of his eye]

Kakashi: [thinks] We will need a fair amount of good luck from now on.

[Switch scene to Danzou and Madara]

Madara: I have a proposition.

Danzou: I have no interest. Everything ended after the Uchiha massacre. We will not join up with Akatsuki if that is what you wanted.

Madara: Ahh but I can offer you what you wanted and you don’t need to join Akatsuki. I can make sure events turn in your favour and end up with you as Konoha’s Hokage.

Danzou: And what is the catch of your sly plot?

Madara: Nothing. Akatsuki and Root together will be a formidable force against the Ninja Alliance. I plan to unite the world. We have a common goal. We will have the power of the tailed beasts.

Danzou: ……

Madara: Well? Don’t you want to see the world as one? [closeup of Madara’s Sharingan through the mask] Undivided with eternal peace!

Danzou: In that case, this will be our last agreement. However, there is one thing.

Madara: And that is?

Danzou: You must not destroy Konoha.

Madara: [laughs] Destroying Konoha has been my goal since time immemorial. What makes you think I’ll give up on that? Besides Konoha is part of that alliance!

Danzou: It’s either that or we stand as enemies. I can give you something which you would greatly appreciate.

Madara: Something to make me give up on Konoha? You do realize that my pawns will not like that right? So what is that special something? Your eyes?

Danzou: If you agree to leave Konoha alone, then I’ll give you the last of the Senju. Princess Tsunade. Granddaughter of the man who drove you into ruin.

[Madara’s Sharingan is shown to be slowly transforming into the EMS]

The Real 6th Hokage

Naruto- so Kakashi how does it feel that you are the next Hokage

Kakashi- I’m not even sure that I will be voted to become the next Hokage Naruto

Naruto- of course you will be voted to become the next Hokage you’re a man of true skill… and an example we should all follow. I can not think of a finer Shinobi than you Kakashi Sensei.

Kakashi-(Thinking to himself Naruto you are a way finer Shinobi than Myself, you have more faith in peoples hearts when everyone else has giving up on them, more importantly you have faith in yourself and you just never give up. Your dream is to surpass all Hokage before you, and I believe You Will. )

Kakashi- Thanks Naruto

Naruto- HeHeHe so Kakashi what are you going to do about this situation when they Do make you Hokage.

Kakashi- ha Naruto to tell you the truth I’m not even thinking about that now but I will tell you that even before the village declares me Hokage I am going to talk to Shikamaru and the rest of your years class of how stupid the idea of them going against Sasuke alone

Naruto- No let me talk to shik…

Shikaku- excuse me Naruto but I need to talk to Kakashi

Kakashi- Shikaku any news

Shikaku- yeah there is the urgent meeting that all the Jōnin are suppose to vote for the next Hokage and like always Kakashi you are late.

Kakashi- well naruto I guess I will let you handle Shikamaru and the rest of your comrades I believe in your judgment but please naruto just go easy on them. They were doing what they thought was best for the village.

Naruto drops his head in sadness
Naruto- I know they were

The scene switches just as naruto is about to talk with Shikamaru and the rest of his class
The scene switches to Sakura, Lee, Sai and Kiba & Akamaru

Sai- Sakura why did you not tell naruto the truth

Kiba and Lee look at Sakura

Sakura- Sai I did not tell Naruto the truth because, he would have stopped us
He would have given a heartfelt speech of how it is his duty to bring him back and it would have worked.

Sai – oh

Sai- Sakura why doesn’t Naruto just give up on Sasuke

Sakura- (in a loud voice so everyone in the group hears) Naruto Never gives Up

Kiba, Lee, nod there heads

Sakura- (the next thing she says she whispers) and when that day happens when he does give up we are all screwed…

The scene changes back to naruto finishing speaking to Shikamaru and the rest of his fellow classmates

Shikamaru- Naruto I’m sorry we were going to do this but I thought Sakura told you

Naruto- Shikamaru this just proves you cant be a genius all the time hehe. Sakura never planned on telling me what you were going to do with Sasuke.

Shikamaru- So Naruto what are we going to do about Sakura

Naruto- Shikamaru don’t worry I will handle it as soon as possible

Yamato jumps in

Yamato- Sorry to interrupt you guys but Kakashi needs you in the meeting Naruto

Naruto- Me did I do something wrong Yamato

Yamato- Haha no Naruto, Kakashi just need to see you for a sec

Scene changes
Naruto walks into the tent where all the Jōnin are and Naruto spots Kakashi holding Kage hat

Scene changes again
Scene changes to Sakura, Sai, Lee, and Kiba and Akamaru jumping through the forest trying to sense Sasuke

Akamaru- WOOF, WOOF

Sakura- Kiba does he sense Sasuke

Kiba- No it’s A lot smaller and it is coming fast

Akamaru- Woof Bark

Kiba- He says it’s a dog

Kiba stops

Sakura- why are you stopping?

Pakkun- Sakura I told him to stop under the orders of the six Hokage

Sakura- I do not follow orders from that Hokage and I will never follow Danzo

Pakkun- These are not orders from Danzo these are orders from the New six Hokage

Sakura- Then Who is the Sixth Hokage

Pakkun- Who Do You Think?!!

Scene Switches

Shikamaru- you did say you would handle the Sakura situation soon I just did not expect you would be the Sixth Hokage.

Naruto- Hehehe

Naruto is sitting in a chair smiling with his Kage hat covering half his face

Fuu and Torune slowly step infront while Danzo places his hand over his eye. Danzo lifts up the bandage to reveal the sharingan. Danzo nods to Torune and then Fuu who both move back several feet. Danzo presses a button on his arm causing it to fall off. Danzo removes his sword from his scabard and looks up at where Madara is.
Madara: "So you too have acquired the sharingan. I guess after the last time we fought you decided to acquire a sharingan yourself. Let us see how much it has really improved your skill."
Danzo: "..."
Fuu: "Torune, Why does the boss always wear that brace on his arm?
Torune: "Its not actually a brace. Its more like a counterweight. It serves a both a restraint and a training tool. Just watching and you will see why."
Madara does a hand sign and then a black bladed sword with a jeweled handle comes out of Madara's sharingan eye. Madara grips the handle as the last of it comes out. Fuu and Torune are mystified while Danzo lets off a faint smile. The sword gives off an ominous glow as Madara swings it around as if testing it. Madara then turns to Danzo. He suddenly vanishes and reappears on the ground several feet away from Danzo.
Madara: "Shall we begin?"
Danzo charges head long and the two of their blades clash causing black sparks to arc off Madara's blade. Danzo tries to swing his blade at Madara at a downward slash but Madara narrowly dodges the slash while at the same time swinging his own blade towards Danzo's head. Danzo narrowly dodges the slash and attempts to stab Madara upward as Madara pivots from the head slash. Madara smiles and swings his head back narrowly missing a stab to the throat. Madara jumps back a step and lets out a sigh. Danzo smiles and charges headlong with a downward slash. Madara smiles and charges forward with a slash to the side of Danzo. Danzo grips his side as his bandage shows signs of bleeding. Danzo gives off and angered look and then proceeds seperate his legs for a wider stance. Madara steadies himself to prepare for an attack. Danzo charges headlong forward and tries several extremely fast slashes from different angles. Each time Madara easily parries each slash with minimal problems. The slashes continue in fast succession as the two of them fight around the forest until Danzo fails to connect with a slash to Madara's side which easily passes through madara with minimal effort and passes to the other side opening up the rest of Danzo's body to an attack which madara attempts to slash at resulting in Danzo blocking which causes Danzo's blade to shatter in pieces as it strikes Madara's blade. Danzo in responce jumps back, grips his side as it continues to bleed, and starts to breath hoarsely. Danzo places his sword into the ground. Fuu and Torune both have surprised looks on their faces while Danzo looks nervous.
Danzo: "What is it you want Madara?"
Madara: "I have come to collect on our agreement we made years ago. You said when the time came you would be willing to pay any price to eliminate the uchiha clan."
Danzo: "You were not the one who carried out the elimination of uchiha clan. Itachi did that not you."
Madara: "That part is not important. The point is I made it possible for your people to seize control of things once belonging to my clan including the eye you possess now. I want that which was promised to me."
Danzo: "And if I refuse?"
Madara: "Then I shall take what is mine and I shall destroy all that you have worked so hard to build."
Danzo: "How much time do I have to give you what you want?"
Madara: "Until the next full moon. If you refuse you know what will happen. Remember until the next full moon."
Madara teleports away leaving behind Danzo with a nervous look on his face while Torune and Fuu head over to Danzo.
Danzo: "We must get back to the village. We do not have much time to prepare."
Torune: "What is it that Madara wants exactly?"
Danzo: "Naruto."

Garaa: "So what shall it be Naruto?
Naruto places his hand on Garaa's shoulder and takes it off. Garaa is surprised by the gesture.
Naruto: "You tell me this war is to protect the hachibi and kyubi from Madara but I see that there is more to it then that?"
Garaa: "What do you mean? There is no other motive."
Naruto: "Yes there is. You and the other villages each feel a sense of guilt, fear, and in some cases shame for your actions that have allowed akatsuki to get this far."
Garaa: "..."
Naruto: "Is it not true that you lost your bijuu to akatsuki? Did your village take whatever steps were necessary to protect you?"
Garaa: "But I uhh..."
Naruto: "The same goes for the cloud village. They didn't protect their jinchuriki and it was almost captured."
Garaa: "Naruto we are doing this to protect you."
Naruto: "No you are doing this to make up for your sense of failure of being unable to protect your own bijuu. It is for that reason you now try to protect me despite the fact that maybe I may not need that protection."
Garaa: "And what would you have me or the rest of the villages do? We can't let Madara revive the Juubi."
Naruto: "For starters, you need to stop trying to pretend you have the power to hold off Madara. You can't even defeat sasuke so what makes you think you can fight off Madara? You are best to forget about that which you can't
face and deal with that which you can."
Kakashi thinking: "Harsh words Naruto but none the less true."
Naruto: "If you want to truly help me in this conflict then we must make sure that foolish mistakes of the past are not made again starting with my former teammates and friends attempting to eliminate Sasuke themselves."
Garaa: "The others are gonna try to do that? Thats crazy. It would be a massacre if they tried to attack him now."
Naruto: "Once we get that under control we must stop viewing this as a standard war. Madara doesn't have any intention of starting a real conflict. This is just a smokescreen to keep everyone busy with preparations while his forces strike discretely where ever they wish to do so."
Kakashi: "What exactly did you have in mind Naruto?"
Naruto: "We need to do what the original plan was from the beginning. Learn all we can and little by little chip away the members and associates of akatsuki. As we do so we can learn where and how they get their information."
Garaa: "So you are saying that this war is not one that we should fight by open warfare but actually by selective elimination and capture?"
Naruto: "Exactly."
Garaa: "And to what end do you expect all this information gathering and elimination to reach?"
Naruto: "If we find the sources of their intelligence gathering we can feed them false information. This information can be used to divert the attentions of akatsuki away from one area allowing for a potentially fatal weakness in another."
The others' eyes all widen when they think about the depth of what Naruto has just suggested.
Kakashi thinking: "I doubt Madara has thought about this."
Garaa: "And you think this can be accomplished?"
Naruto: "I am certain of it. I think Jiraiya had similar plans prior to his death and his death in a way gave us the info on the place to strike. We now know the headquarters of Akatsuki and where to strike akatsuki in a way that will hurt madara the most."
Garaa: "If I sent Temari and Kankuro back to Konoha with Kakashi and Yamoto, would you be willing to speak to the others about this information? I suspect you know more as well correct?"
Naruto: "Yes and I agree to go with you if Kakashi and Yamoto do not mind."
Kakashi: "I concur with Naruto's assessment. If your plan works it could allow for a quick end to this war."
Naruto: "Sai I need you to do whatever you can to delay sakura. She must not find Sasuke. Go ahead and disperse. There will be others to help you soon."
Sai: "Thank you Naruto."
Sai smiles and the clone disperses into ink.
Garaa: "Alright its settled. Temari. Kankuro. Head back to Konoha and inform them of the present situation concerning Danzo and Madara. Once you are done head back to the Sand Village. I will meet up with you later."
Temari and Kankuro: "Understood."
Kakashi: "I guess we had better head out Yamoto. Take care Naruto and do not worry about the others. We will deal with them later. Just be sure to not tell them about what Madara said earlier. We have no certainty on if what Madara said is true or not. "
Naruto: "...."
Kakashi and Yamoto head away with Temari and Kankuro. Naruto turns to Garaa and smiles.
Garaa: "What was he talking about earlier? What did Madara say about you? Any information that Madara may think is important may be of use."
Naruto: "Madara thinks I may be a decendant of the Senju Clan."
Garaa: "THE SENJU CLAN?!"
Garaa thinks about it while Naruto remembers Madara wearing his mask.
